You will work in Agile, cross-functional teams alongside product managers, developers, and operations specialists to develop infrastructure, automate provisioning, enforce security controls, and continuously improve system performance and reliability. You will contribute to CI/CD practices, monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis while leveraging cloud-native technologies, containerization, and open-source tooling. Your work will directly support McKinsey’s transition to a digital and technology-driven organization by enabling high-performing, resilient systems that empower teams and clients to make timely, data-driven decisions. You will be based in Costa Rica as part of our DevOps Team within the Tech Ecosystem group, collaborating with a globally distributed team.Your backgroundBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required 5+ years of corporate and/or professional services experienceStrong experience with DevSecOps practicesProgramming experience in PythonExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AnsibleExperience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitHubExperience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and KubernetesExperience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Elastic)Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and operating systems (Linux/Windows)Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
