Position Overview

Seeking a highly creative Graphic Designer with strong illustration, typography, and Adobe Illustrator expertise to support the development of branded merchandise and retail graphics. This role is focused on creating custom artwork and self-contained graphic concepts rather than digital product design. The ideal candidate has experience producing vintage-inspired, western-themed, and badge-style designs for physical products and can effectively collaborate within an agile sprint-based workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Design custom patches, badges, logos, and emblem-style graphics.
• Create original artwork for branded merchandise including:
  • Graphic t-shirts
  • Caps and headwear
  • Stickers
  • Embroidered and woven patches
  • Drinkware
• Develop custom typography and hand-crafted design elements.
• Produce retro, vintage-inspired, and western-style branding assets.
• Prepare production-ready artwork and vector files.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders within an established sprint process.
• Incorporate feedback and iterate designs efficiently.

Required Qualifications

• Professional graphic design experience with a strong illustration portfolio.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Demonstrated experience creating merchandise graphics and product artwork.
• Strong typography, logo design, and visual storytelling skills.
• Experience developing patch, badge, emblem, and label-style designs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with western, outdoor, lifestyle, or heritage-inspired brands.
• Background in apparel and promotional product design.
• Familiarity with print production and merchandise manufacturing requirements.
• Experience working within agile or sprint-based creative environments.

Work Schedule

20-30 hours per week. Available for meetings in central time zone.

This role is remote but you must be located in the continental US.

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $35.00-$38.00per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
