Metro Ambulance is hiring EMTs. This shift operates during peak system volume and plays a critical role in maintaining response reliability and patient throughput.
We offer structured flexibility — choose 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, Monday through Saturday — allowing you to align your schedule with personal and professional goals. If you prefer active daytime/early evening hours and want to avoid early mornings and overnights, this schedule delivers both balance and field exposure.
Compensation & Earning PotentialCompetitive base hourly rate (based on experience)
Additional $3.00/hour differential for all Friday, Saturday, Sunday hours worked
Overtime eligibility in accordance with policy
Opportunities for additional shifts based on availability
Friday and Saturday shifts offer increased earning potential while working high-volume, high-engagement operational periods.

QualificationsRequired:
Current NJ EMT certification (or applicable state)
Current BLS/CPR certification
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Professional reliability and accountability
Preferred:
1+ year field experience
EVOC certification
Experience in a high-volume EMS system
EMTs who prefer active daytime/early evening operations
